In
the city, it makes going to work or school an enjoyable and healthful outing. |
|
It
makes shopping a pleasant tour around town. |
|
And
it is a great way to see the beautiful French countryside. |
| Did you know Peugeot
made bikes before they started making cars? (In 2003 Peugeot merged
with Gitane and there are no longer bikes made with the Peugeot name.) |

my old bike--a Peugeot "Natural City
105" Vélo de Ville. |

and her bike--a Peugeot "Country 100" Vélo Tout
Chemin (VTC). |
| All the photos on my site were taken by me with various
generations of digital toys starting with my Leica
digilux zoom and my Sony Digital Handycam
Mega Pixel 40x zoom. |
| My Leica has been happily replaced with the new superb
Canon IXUS 400 which I enjoyed for 6 weeks until
it was stolen along with my Sony Handycam, my phone, and some other beloved
techno-toys. My dear
husband has since replaced these items with the same Canon, and the new tiny
Sony
DCR-PC105. |
| Nothing seems to outlast my bike. My newest camera
is the Canon Ixus 800. And I can
always count on my Nokia 6230i for some
great emergency shots! |
| Hmm. The last point must be amended. I still
have my latest camera and phone, but my bike broke in two, literally.
The new one is a more than worthy successor: my
Gitane Louisiane VTC!
